Job Summary

Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, the Telehandler Operator performs highly specialized and dangerous material handling tasks, operating telescopic boom handlers. The operator will lift and move exceptionally heavy, awkwardly sized mining materials (such as massive steel pipes and ventilation fans) across rough, uneven surface terrain.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will actively assist in loading and unloading heavy flatbed trucks, requiring a profound, technical understanding of complex load charts, boom extension limits, and the machine's dynamic center of gravity to prevent catastrophic tipping incidents.

Qualifications & Experience

The applicant must hold a valid, recognized Telehandler Operator Certificate and a Class B Driver's license. A minimum of three years of dedicated experience in heavy, rough-terrain materials handling within a construction or mining environment is strictly required.
