Job Summary

Reporting to the PIC, the UV / IT Operator (Utility Vehicle / Integrated Toolcarrier) manages the critical logistical supply lines that keep the underground operation functioning. The operator maneuvers specialized utility vehicles to safely transport highly sensitive materials, including explosives, heavy steel pipes, and critical engineering spares to the active working faces.

Key Responsibilities

A major responsibility involves refueling the entire trackless mobile machinery (TMM) fleet mid-shift via mounted bowser pumps, demanding strict adherence to fire safety and hydrocarbon spill protocols. The incumbent must be deeply familiar with emergency stopping procedures, load balancing, and underground traffic rules.

Qualifications & Experience

The applicant must hold a recognized UV/IT Operator Certificate and a valid Class B license. A minimum of three years of dedicated experience in logistics, heavy material handling, and mobile equipment operation within an underground mining environment is strictly required.
