This includes substations, pump stations, ventilation fan motors, and MCC/PLC‑driven control systems essential to mechanized development. The role requires advanced technical competence in electrical fault‑finding within confined, high‑risk environments where power reliability directly impacts production, safety, and ventilation performance.
Key Responsibilities
The Electrician performs planned and reactive maintenance on electrical infrastructure, executes safe switching procedures, installs and tests new power circuits, and diagnoses complex faults affecting mechanized equipment and fixed plant. Responsibilities include conducting insulation tests, verifying earth‑leakage integrity, calibrating electrical protection systems, replacing high‑voltage components, and maintaining compliance with lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) procedures. The Electrician must respond to unplanned breakdowns, support engineering upgrades, complete job cards, and ensure all work complies with the MQWM Act and internal safety protocols.
