Job Summary
Reporting to the Document Controller, the Document Clerk provides essential administrative support by ensuring that all operational, technical, and safety-related documents are accurately processed, filed, and maintained. The role is critical for maintaining compliance, supporting audits, and keeping project information accessible to authorized personnel across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
Daily tasks include receiving, scanning, organizing, and archiving various operational forms, inspection sheets, engineering documents, and safety checklists. The clerk distributes updated documents to designated staff, retrieves files requested for operational reviews, and ensures filing systems remain orderly and up to date. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, supporting meeting documentation, and assisting with routine administrative duties during audits or inspections.
Qualifications & Experience
A BGCSE or equivalent qualification is required, with strong organizational skills and basic computer literacy. Previous experience in document handling within mining, construction, or industrial environments is advantageous. The successful candidate must demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently in a high-volume documentation environment.
