Job Summary

Reporting to the Admin Manager, the Driver is responsible for safely transporting personnel, materials, and administrative cargo across the mine site and surrounding operational areas. The role demands a skilled and disciplined driver capable of navigating busy industrial zones, unpaved access routes, and remote locations while consistently maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with mine traffic regulations. The Driver supports both surface and underground logistics by ensuring timely, reliable mobility for critical site functions.

Key Responsibilities

The Driver performs daily vehicle inspections, maintains detailed logbooks, and reports faults immediately to prevent breakdowns. Regular duties include shuttling employees to shift change points, transporting documents and light equipment, supporting emergency transport requirements, and assisting with general administrative errands. The role requires adherence to strict speed controls, radio communication protocols, and road‑safety procedures, especially when operating within shared zones used by heavy mobile machinery. The Driver must also ensure vehicles remain clean, fueled, and compliant with all mine access and security requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

A valid Class B driver's license is required, with a PRDP considered highly advantageous. Candidates must have at least three years of professional driving experience, a clean safety record, and strong situational awareness when operating in mining or industrial environments.
