Job Summary

Reporting to the Ventilation Officer, the Ventilation Assistant provides essential physical and data-gathering support to ensure the integrity of the underground air reticulation system.

Key Responsibilities

The assistant's primary responsibilities include conducting routine, systematic ventilation surveys across the mine, actively monitoring and maintaining sensitive gas detection equipment, and meticulously recording air flow and velocity data at established measuring stations.

Qualifications & Experience

The applicant must possess a BGCSE qualification with a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physical Science, combined with a minimum of two years of practical experience working in underground ventilation, occupational hygiene, or a related technical support role.
